  • APAAC Charter Highlight:

    I. Provide advice, guidance, and recommendations to the Goddard Director in planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the Center's Affirmative Action program on the employment and advancement of Asian and Pacific Americans and other minorities;

    II. Serve as a focal point for the concerns of Asian and Pacific American employees on matters affecting their employment at Goddard through personal contact with the Director, the Assistant Director, and other officials of the Center; and

    III. Help resolve Center-wide problems affecting Asian and Pacific American employees.

    Vision Statement:

    APAAC strives to be the best-in-class Federal organization to promote the interests of NASA GSFC Asian / Pacific Islander employees

    Mission Statement:

    APAAC will work to ensure equitable representation of Asian Pacific Americans in leadership roles at all levels in the NASA GSFC community as well as address issues, concerns and requests to the upper management. We will also work to increase the awareness of APA cultures and values while being responsive to the broader Goddard employee community.
